Big Data Congress 2017 on March 7, 2017

Attend our session at BigData Congress 2017

On March 7, Fabrice Tocco, Dawex co-founder, will speak at BigData Congress on the topic: “2017, the emergence of marketplaces and private data exchanges.”

An event not to be missed in France, this congress attracted over 10,000 participants in 2016. The 2017 edition is full of promise, with numerous round tables and conference sessions covering a wide range of topics, including Big Data governance, predictive Big Data, and the links between Big Data and artificial intelligence.

From our perspective, Dawex will examine the economic side of this fast-growing industry.

It is clearly visible today that it is no longer sufficient to rely on internal data to create exceptional client experiences or optimize industrial processes. Your own data needs to be enriched with data from outside sources, which can be acquired from within your ecosystem or from third-party companies generating additional revenue by sharing or monetizing their data directly.

These new types of exchanges are bringing about a new economy based on data, facilitated by marketplaces and private spaces for exchanging data. These platforms thus play a dual role as the operator and trusted third-party by securing transactions. The value placed on trust will serve as a guide for the market to develop on a healthy foundation.

This session will include real-world examples and a presentation of Dawex, the data marketplace.
