Dawex corporate social responsibility (CSR) approach is part of this vision: developing high-performance technological solutions while minimizing their environmental footprint, fostering an inclusive work environment, and strengthening the positive impact on our ecosystems and territories.

A Responsible Governance Framework

Dawex governance is structured to ensure consistency, transparency, and the integration of CSR challenges into the company’s global strategy. A member of the Management Board is responsible for environmental and social issues, supported by a dedicated internal representative. The Dawex Management Board, composed of nine members including four women, steers the company's strategic roadmap through frequent decision-making commitees.

The Management team regularly shares progress with all employees, particularly during "Dawex Camps" and monthly "Talk Together" sessions, to durably anchor our collective vision.

Environment —Reducing the footprint

Dawex incorporates environmental considerations into the design of its digital services from the outset, drawing on eco-design principles to minimize the environmental impact of our solutions during use. The Dawex solution, accessible from a wide range of devices—including hardware over five years old—is based on an architecture that dynamically adapts the amount of resources consumed to actual use. It also optimizes the components used to prioritize open, interoperable, open-source, or hardware-native standards.

The solution's operational processes are also designed to reduce the carbon footprint by optimizing resource utilization—both in development and testing environments—and by leveraging the benefits of a multi-tenant architecture in production.

The cloud infrastructures on which Dawex solutions are deployed are selected based on strict environmental criteria, including the use of renewable energy and proximity to our customers’ locations, thereby balancing performance with energy efficiency.

Internally, Dawex pursues an active waste reduction policy: sustainable equipment, responsible procurement, and recycling handled by specialized partners. Our offices are equipped with recycling bins, and paper use is kept to a minimum thanks to fully digital processes. Furthermore, Dawex prioritizes local sourcing for products and services intended for employees: regional service providers, local caterers, and nearby suppliers are favored in order to reduce the carbon footprint associated with transportation and support the local economy.

Dawex has implemented a system for tracking key performance indicators—such as energy consumption, energy intensity, volume of stored data, and equipment lifespan—to monitor our progress in a measurable way.

Social — A fulfilling and inclusive work environment

Quality of life at work and the personal development of Dawex teams are among our priorities. Dawex offers regular learning formats, such as monthly "brain break" half-days, conferences, mentoring programs, and coaching sessions, for up to two days per year.

While Dawex is not subject to the regulatory Gender Equality Index, it consistently applies the principle of equal pay for the same position, given comparable skills and responsibilities. Salary decisions are based on objective criteria (level of responsibility, experience, performance, project contribution), ensuring a fair compensation policy.

To support the employment of people with disabilities, we have provided annual mentoring for an intern since 2022.

Our hybrid work model promotes a healthy work-life balance. Dawex offices, located in the city center and accessible by public transit or sustainable transportation, encourage sustainable mobility. Over the past three years, our employees have cycled more than 10,000 km per year.

Through technical and content accessibility, Dawex offers services usable by the greatest number of users, regardless of their specific service consumption constraints. Through its rigorous, 360-degree approach to interoperability using standard protocols and languages, Dawex offers services that interface natively with other systems, thereby reducing the need for specific implementations and ensuring high-performance, sustainable, and responsible usage.

Beyond the product, Dawex recognizes the importance of its societal role and impact, strengthening its commitment to support customers and partners in the responsible use of data, thereby contributing to a more resilient, collaborative, and sustainable economy.
